PILA develops tools and materials for community based organizations to compliment their leadership development and electoral organizing efforts. While there is no one-size-fits-all approach to leadership development and voter education, we offer versatile exercises, strategies and practices to organizations with limited resources.
In 2006, PILA compiled and published its first comprehensive toolkit

In 2007, PILA will be compiling and sharing lessons, stories and multilingual tools from our leadership development programs. Meanwhile, you can access a few examples of PILA’s leadership development tools for free. On this page you can also download our New Citizens Vote! Curriculum in five different languages.
We've also compiled a list of links to other organizations that offer materials we think could also be useful for community based organizations looking for concrete tools to help them develop grassroots leadership in their immigrant communities.
